After 292 issues the "Disneyland" comic came to an end and was incorporated into the "Mickey Mouse" comic to become "Mickey Mouse in Disneyland" (No 57). No 292 (dated 6 November 1976) had a full page message stating that it was merging 'as from next week'. It showed a picture of the proposed new cover for "Mickey Mouse in Disneyland" which was indeed issued as No 57 of the "Mickey Mouse" comic series, but it was dated 20 November 1976, two weeks later! Previous versions of this gallery stated there were 293 issues of the "Disneyland" comic because of the evident one week gap between 6 November and 20 November. Having just acquired the last 20 comics, and discovering the message in No 292, another mystery has arisen. What happened in the week inbetween? Was there a further edition (No 293) as originally thought or simply a week's delay?
