Number 29 was renamed as just "Goofy" and had the banner 'Exciting News Inside'. The news was that the comic was merging with "Donald and Mickey" (see message from No 29) to become "Donald and Mickey and Also Goofy" (No 114), hence the dropping of 'Pluto' from the final edition title. Presumbly "Donald and Mickey and Also Goofy and Also Pluto" would have been a bit of a mouthful to order at your newsagents !  |
