Prior
to the launch of 'Winnie the Pooh Magazine' in February 1988, London
Editions Magazines published two Winnie the Pooh Specials during 1987
(shown above) as a forerunner to the new comic. The comic was bi-monthly
to start with and then became monthly from Issue No 4 onwards. The title
changed twice, first to 'Winnie the Pooh Comic' from No 6 to No 12 and
then to 'Winnie the Pooh and His Pals' from No 13 onwards. I do not
know how many (if any) were published beyond No 27.
