Augusta
was a comic strip written by Angus McGill and Dominic Poelsma published
in both the Evening Standard and the Mail on Sunday's "You"
magazine. Harmsworth Publications printed Augusta No 1 in 1989 but to
my knowledge, there was never a No 2. The very interesting thing about
this comic strip is that it wasn't always called "Augusta".
It was originally called "Clive" who is in fact Augusta's older
brother in the strip. The Clive comic strip ran
in the newspapers from the 1960s.
