Barney Google and Snuffy Smith (originally known as "Take Barney Google, F'rinstance"), is an American comic strip created by cartoonist Billy DeBeck. The strip was taken over by DeBeck's former artist, Fred Lasswell, after his death in 1942. After Lasswell's death in 2001 the strip was taken over by John Rose, Lasswell's former inking assistant. The strip has been syndicated and running for over 100 years even though the earliest character, Barney Google, was missing fron the strip for many years. I am aware of only a few books, only one of which I have in my collection so this gallery may be incomplete. If anyone can help with this please email me.
