Burnett authored religious humour books, mostly about monks.
There were six books published by Merlin Press Books, first in hardback
edition, then later in paperback. There was a further imprint of the series
in the US by Fawcett Crest Books.

book above was issued as 'by Phelix'. I asked Hugh Burnett why this was...
his reply : "Top Sacred was the first book I did, published under
the name 'Phelix', because at that time I was drawing for the New Statesman,
whilst working at the BBC."
