The first Asterix series in my collection is the stick figure series issued in 1990 as part of the K91 range of toys (K91 numbers 01 to 16), comprised of parts that you had to put together, including stickers for eyes, buttons and other adornments. Consequently, unless you got them when they were issued (which I did), it is hard to acquire them with all their parts as there were so many bits that could easily go missing. Each figure also came with a cartoon strip on the back of the description paper and a sticker of the character.

The second Asterix series in my collection is the handpainted figure series issued only in France in 1997 with the title "Asterix in Amerika".

     

     

The third Asterix series in my collection is the handpainted figure series issued only in Germany and France in 2003 with the title "Asterix and the Romans".

    

The fourth Asterix series in my collection is the handpainted figure series issued only in France in 2006 with the title "Asterix and the Vikings".

The fifth Asterix series in my collection is the handpainted figure series issued in 2009 celebrating the 50th anniversary of Asterix.
