J Arthur Dixon (and Dixon-Lotus)

This first section features the small size (5½ inches x 3½ inches) map postcards produced by J Arthur Dixon (a Dixon-Lotus Production) after Dixons acquired Lotus Productions (Fine Arts) Ltd in August 1964. This size was phased out in January 1967. They are remarkably similar in design to the older Plastichrome cards.

From 1967 all of Dixon's cards were published continental-sized (17.5cm x 12.5 cm) and indicated DRG (Dickinson Robinson Group) or just J Arthur Dixon as the brand. In 1998, Dixon's was sold to John Hinde who continued to publish the designs with the J Arthur Dixon branding.
