Purnell
were prolific publishers of children's books and created several 'series'
of books across a few children's television shows and Disney characters.
One such series was the 'square' series of TV show and Disney character
books, comprising of paperback books measuring 19 x 19 cm and hardback
books measuring 19.5 x 19.5 cm, each comprising of 20 pages.

The
reverse of each of the paperback books indicated 'Titles in this series'
but in most cases not specific titles though it appears there were two
for each main heading. Apart from Tom & Jerry and Pink Panther,
all other books appear to be hardback only.
