The
Archers is a BBC radio drama that started in 1950 and continues to this
day. It is the World's longest running soap opera and although not a
TV series deserves listing in these galleries as a number of books have
been published. A list of episode novelisations is at the bottom of
the gallery. In addition to the novelisations there were a number of
original novels.
