Bergerac
was a popular crime drama series from the BBC, set in Jersey, that ran
for nine seasons from 1981 to 1991, starring John Nettles later of Midsomer
Murders fame. Six paperbacks were published by three publishers
(BBC, Granada and Penguin) and one hardback by Severn House. In 2025
a reboot TV series was launched for six episodes starring Damien Maloney.
