Casualty is a medical drama series that started on BBC TV in September 1986 (originally as a seasonal series and then as a continuous weekly series) and is still running to the present day - it is the world's longest running medical drama. There was one novel published by Grafton Books in 1986 which was re-published by Warner Books as 'How It All Began". In 1987 Futura Books published "Megan's Story" which was re-published by Warner Books as "The Early Years". The Warner Books were published from 1986 to 2004 with four further titles. In 2000 a further novel was published by BBC Books.

There were two spin-off series from Casualty - Holby City, which started in 1999 and also runs once weekly all year round (no novelisations that I know of) and Holby Blue which started in 2007 and ended after two series in 2008 (again, no books that I'm aware of).
