Casualty
is a medical drama series that started on BBC TV in September 1986 (originally
as a seasonal series and then as a continuous weekly series) and is
still running to the present day - it is the world's longest running
medical drama. There was one novel published by Grafton Books in 1986
which was re-published by Warner Books as 'How It All Began". In
1987 Futura Books published "Megan's Story" which was re-published
by Warner Books as "The Early Years". The Warner Books were
published from 1986 to 2004 with four further titles. In 2000 another
novel was published by BBC Books.
There were two spin-off series from Casualty - Holby City, which started in 1999 and ran for twenty-three seasons ending in 2022 with no novelisations that I know of, and Holby Blue which started in 2007 and ended after two series in 2008 (again, no books that I'm aware of). = In My Collection / = Not in My Collection |
