Coronation
Street is the world's longest running soap that started in 1960 and
still running ! Three paperback novels were published by Mayflower Books
in the 1970s, some of which were re-published in hardback format by
White Lion Books in 1977. Three further novels were published by Granada
Books, set during the second world war when many of the older characters
were youngsters.
In 2003 a new novel was published by Granada titled 'The Epic Novel' by Katherine Hardy, a novelisation of the first forty years of the soap. This book was re-published in 2004 with the new title of 'The Complete Saga' and re-printed in 2008 with a new cover. 2017 saw the start of a new series of war-time Coronation Street novels, written by Maggie Sullivan and published in hardback by Harper Collins Books and later released as paperback. Many reference books were also published but this gallery only includes those in my collection. = In My Collection / = Not in My Collection |
