The
Forsyte Saga was a BBC television adaptation of John Galsworthy's series
of 'The Forsyte Chronicles' novels, and its sequel
trilogy 'A Modern Comedy', that ran for twenty-six episodes in 1967.
All three of Galsworthy's trilogies were re-published by Penguin Books
with TV-themed covers, even though the last trilogy 'End of the Chapter'
was not adapted for TV. There was also a prequel novel 'On Forsyte Change'
which was re-published with a TV-themed cover in 1969 by Pan Books.
