Jane
Marple, usually referred to as Miss Marple, is a fictional character
appearing in twelve of Agatha Christie's crime novels and in twenty
short stories (list at bottom of page). From 1984
to 1992, the BBC adapted all of the original Miss Marple novels as a
series titled 'Miss Marple' starring Joan Hickson (a total of twelve
stories over 21 episodes, spanning three seasons). A number of books
were published with TV-themed covers.

From 2004 to 2013, ITV broadcast a series of adaptations of Agatha Christie's
books under the title 'Marple', running for six seasons. The first three
seasons featured Geraldine McEwan as Miss Marple, and from the fourth
season Julia McKenzie took over the role. Several of the episodes were
adapted from Agatha Christie novels that did not originally feature
Miss Marple. A number of books were published with TV-themed covers.

There
was also a fictional biography of Jane Marple written by Anne Hart which
was first published in 1985 (in the US) and 1986 (in the UK) in hardback
with Margaret Rutherford on the front cover. It was subsequently re-published
in paperback with Joan Hickson on the cover in 1991 and with Geraldine
McEwan on the cover in 1997. I also have two German paperback copies
in my collection with Margaret Rutherford on the cover, shown below.
