Rainbow
was an ITV children's television series designed as the UK equivalent
of Sesame Street that ran for twenty-three seasons from 1972 to 1992
and 1994 to 1997. Little Owl Books published four story books in hardback
and a number of annuals were published by Stafford Pemberton (1980 to
1984 annuals) and World Distributors (1985 to 1994 annuals). There was
also a set of four small paperbacks published by Mini World with two
stories in each one.
