Sooty
has been featured as a television series six times, first as "The
Sooty Show" from 1955 to 1992, then "Sooty & Co."
from 1993 to 1998, "Sooty's Amazing Adventures" (animated
series) from 1997 to 1998, "Sooty Heights" from 1999 to 2000,
"Sooty" from 2001 to 2004 and "Sooty" from 2011
to 2018. The series was created by Harry Corbett in the 1950s and the
franchise passed to his son Matthew Corbett in 1976. Several books have
been published over the years, and this gallery only features books
in my collection or those I know about.
