Steptoe
& Son was a BBC comedy series that ran for four seasons in black
and white from 1962 to 1965 and a further four seasons in colour from
1970 to 1974. Two film adaptations of the series were released in cinemas,
'Steptoe and Son' (1972) and 'Steptoe and Son Ride Again' (1973). Two
books were published by Hodder Books and a 'best of...' book published
in hardback by Robson Books.
