Vera
is an ITV crime drama television series that has run for ten seasons
from 2011 to the present. The series starring Brenda Blethyn as Detective
Chief Inspector Vera Stanhope is based upon the Vera Stanhope series
of novels by Ann Cleeves (list at bottom of gallery).
Four books were published with full TV-themed covers by Pan Books in
2011 and the first seven novels republished in 2016 with an inset photo
from the series followed by new novels from 2017, again with inset photos.
