Merlin was a BBC TV fantasy drama that started in 2008 and ran for five seasons, ending in 2012. Six paperback novelisations of TV series episodes have been published, covering episodes 1 - 6, 8, 9, 11 and 13 of Series 1 (for some reason episodes 7, 10 and 12 were skipped) and episodes 1 and 2 of Series 2. In addition, there have been nine hardback novelisations published by Bantam Books covering episodes 1 - 4, 11 and 13 of Series 1, episodes 3, 4 and 13 of Series 2 and episodes 1/2 of Series 3. There has also been a young reader's novel published by Scholastic Books.
