Knight
Rider was a very popular series that ran for four seasons from 1982 to
1986.
Only five books were published, in the US by Pinnacle Books (I do not
have any of these) and in the UK by Star Books (Nos 1 and 2) and Target
Books (Nos 3 - 5). The series premise (of talking vehicles) was revived
for a single season spin-off series in 1997 called Team Knight Rider,
set in the days after Michael Knight's disappearance, but no books were
published other than an annual in 1998. In 2008 a 're-imagined' series
was launched for one season set 25 years after the end of the original
series - no books were published from this series either.
