Robocop
was a sci-fi media franchise that started with three movies, Robocop (1987),
Robocop 2 (1990) and Robocop 3 (1993). These were followed by a television
series that ran for one season of 22 episodes in 1994 and Robocop : Prime
Directives that ran for one season of four ninety minute episodes in 2001.
There were also two animated series, Robocop that ran for one season of
12 episodes in 1988 and Robocop : Alpha Commando that ran for one season
of 40 episodes from 1998 to 1999. A reboot movie was released in 2014.
Only a few books were published, mostly novelisations of the first two
films.
