Shadowhunters
was a fantasy series shown on Netflix in the UK that ran for three seasons
from 2016 to 2019 based on 'The Mortal Instruments' series of books by
Cassandra Clare. The first book in the series, 'City of Bones', was republished
in the UK by Walker Books with a TV-themed cover and in the US by McElderry
Books. Prior to the TV series there was a movie released in 2013 called
'The Mortal Instruments : City of Bones' based on the first book in the
series. The first book was re-published as a movie tie-in.
