Transformers was a franchise that began in 1984 with a series of toys and has lead to animated television series, comic book series and a number of movies. The Transformers TV series ran for a total of four seasons (comprising 98 episodes) from 1984 to 1987. Ladybird Books published a series of hardback books based on this first series as well as a novelisation of the 1986 'Transformers: the Movie'. There have been many Transformers franchise TV series, notably 'Transformers Animated' that ran for three seasons (comprising 42 episodes) from 2007 to 2009, 'Transformers Prime' that ran for three seasons from 2010 to 2013 and 'Transformers: Robots in Disguise' that ran for three seasons plus a mini series from 2015 to 2017. From 2007 a film series started... Transformers (2007), Revenge of the Fallen (2009), Dark of the Moon (2011), Age of Extinction (2014), The Last Knight (2017), Bumblebee (2018) and a forthcoming Rise of the Beasts (2023). A number of novelisations, junior novelisations and prequel books have been published and this gallery only shows what I have in my collection or those I know about that I want for my collection.
