UK

BC books in the UK were reproduced from the American editions by Coronet Books. They appeared in the UK from 1971, at the same time that there was a boon on comic strip books, particularly from Coronet (Peanuts, Wizard of Id, Crock to name a few). The books were issued as a numbered series, but unfortunately Coronet Books were not very clever when assigning the number to the next book released... The No 14 book was numbered 13, making two number 13's and no number 14 ! Having made the mistake once, you would have thought the lesson was learnt, but no, number 20 was numbered 19 so there were two number 19s and no number 20 ! Sadly, Coronet Books disappeared towards the end of the Eighties, and No 27 was the last to be published.

Below is a Gallery of the UK BC Books in number (!!) order. Click HERE to see the original US BC Books, plus the extra titles.
