Hi and Lois is a comic strip about a suburban family, written by Dik Browne (author of Hagar the Horrible) and Mort Walker (author of Beetle Bailey). The strip started in 1954 though the characters (the Flagston family) first appeared in the Beetle Bailey comic strip as Lois is Beetle's sister. All the books were published in the US, largely by Tempo Books and Tor Books. In addition, there were at least two titles published by Avon Books, one by Charter Books, a large compendium by Comicana Books, another by uPublish.com and a book of Sunday strips from ECW Press (the last written by Browne and Walker's sons). There may be images missing from the collection as I am unsure exactly how many titles were ultimately published by Tempo and Tor (I have heard of one called "Sleep-Can" but have never seen an image of it, though it is listed on Amazon as 'unavailable'). If anyone can help with images and/or swap me the books, please email me.
