Star Five was to have been a new sci-fi production from Gerry Anderson
(creator of Thunderbirds,
Captain Scarlet,
Joe 90, Space
1999 and many other series) as a response to the Star Wars franchise.
It was about to enter production in 1978 when the financing for the
feature collapsed. Many years later, Anderson Entertainment published
three novels based on the premise.
