The
Six Million Dollar Man was a very popular television series that ran for
five seasons from 1973 to 1978. Only five books were published
in the UK by Star Books and several more in the US by Warner Books and
Berkley Medallion Books. In 1976, partway through the series run, a spin-off
series was launched called 'The Bionic Woman'
which lasted for three seasons.
The series was borne from Martin Caidin's "Cyborg" series of novels, of which I know of three (pictured below).  =
