Young
Sherlock was an ITV drama series about the young Sherlock Holmes that
ran for one season of eight episodes in 1982 subtitled 'The Mystery
of the Manor House'. A novelisation of this series was written by Gerald
Frow who also wrote a sequel that was never made into a series but was
published with a TV tie-in cover. The title role was played by a young
Guy Henry, better known today as Henrick Hanssen in Holby City and Casualty.
'Young Sherlock Holmes' was also a movie released in 1985 and was novelised
by Dragon Grafton Books.
